The Socialist Party of Lanzarote is proud to report that María Dolores Corujo, insular secretary of the PSOE and Deputy in Congress, will participate as a speaker at the debate table A cohesive Spain in diversity during the 41st Federal Congress of the PSOE, which will be held on November 29, 30 and December 1 in Seville.

Corujo, recognized for her firm commitment to sustainability, social justice and the defense of an equitable development model for the Canary Islands, will contribute her experience and perspective to this space for reflection. Her participation in this forum underlines "the relevance of Lanzarote in the national debate on how to guarantee territorial cohesion respecting and promoting the diversity that characterizes Spain", they declare from the party.

“It is an honor to be able to contribute to the analysis and proposals that will define the future of our country. From Lanzarote and the Canary Islands, we defend a model in which unity coexists with diversity, betting on the balance between development and the protection of our identity and resources,” declared María Dolores Corujo.

The debate table A cohesive Spain in diversity will address the challenges and opportunities of building a coexistence model based on mutual respect and solidarity between territories. In this context, the perspective of the Canary Islands and Lanzarote, with their singularities as an island territory, will be key to enriching the debate.

The PSOE of Lanzarote highlights that "the election of Corujo as speaker reinforces the leading role of the island and its political project in the national panorama. This recognition also underlines the importance of the policies defended by the PSOE in Lanzarote, oriented towards sustainability, inclusion and the quality of life of its inhabitants".

The 41st Federal Congress of the PSOE will be a key occasion to define the political course of the party and to strengthen the values of progress, equality and unity that characterize socialism in Spain.
