The current senator of the PSOE, Manuel Fajardo, has confirmed that he is running again to be a senator for the Socialist Party. The candidate has acknowledged that "today I present my candidacy for senator for the PSOE."
As he confessed in an interview this Monday morning on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero, "it would be an honor if my colleagues would trust my candidacy again." In addition, he makes it clear that his campaign presentation will be done with "humility, a winning mentality, and respect for the other candidates from the other parties on the island."
Fajardo anticipates that "to make the candidacy official, the party has this week, in which practically everything will be decided." He also acknowledges that "this Tuesday the Insular Body will meet to give its approval," although "coalitions can be presented until July ninth."
From the party, "we want to have the candidacies defined between the end of this week and the beginning of the next," he anticipates. "We are going to go faster than other parties, we believe it is the best thing to do," he reveals. Since it is necessary to "make an important mobilization of the party," he acknowledges.
Now it remains to "respect the will of the citizens, which will be done this July 23rd," he says during the interview. He also wanted to acknowledge "the work of Dolores Corujo in the Cabildo of Lanzarote," Fajardo concludes.
