This Monday, the Nueva Canarias candidacy that will compete in the elections of May 24 in Tías was presented in the Indieras hall. The candidate for mayor, Mame Fernández, spoke at the event, highlighting some of the fundamental axes of his policy. One of the main points will be the creation of the Zone Councilor, "we need our councilors to respond to their neighbors, that is why we are going to designate councilors by areas that include different payments, so that each citizen knows who to claim," said Fernández.

Within the scope of social policies, Mame Fernández and his team propose "the creation of the Senior Citizen's City in Tías; the construction of a new and modern police station, adapted to the 21st century; priority will also be given to the management of the municipal nursery; and the creation of the Sports City in La Tiñosa for residents and tourists, together with the opening of the municipal swimming pool, which must be achieved as soon as possible."

"In the field of social participation we must reactivate the Plaza del Pavón and achieve the opening of the Sociedad Unión Sur de Tías. Adopting, for the society, the necessary measures for its delivery to the members and for the signing of a new agreement of use and management," said Fernández. "We will promote public transport and implement measures to combat professional intrusion in the Taxi Sector. Likewise, the school of hospitality and services, located in the Fondeadero de La Tiñosa, will be promoted," he explained.
