The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, signed last Friday the decrees to delegate the areas to the eight councilors of his government group. Machín, who obtained an absolute majority for the Canarian Coalition in the Tinajo City Council in the past elections of May 22, will be in charge of the Mayor's Office, but will not hold any other area.
Thus, the distribution of Councilorships is as follows:
Luisa María García: Social Services and Women's Area.
Antonio Jesús Morales: Security and Emergencies, Civil Protection, Police, Personnel, Traffic, Sports, Industry, Commerce and Consumption.
Arecia Fontes: Education and Culture.
Gustavo Adolfo Morales: Road Maintenance, Mobile Park and Transportation.
María Dolores Martín: Senior Citizens, Tourism, Heritage, Citizen Participation and Health.
Manuel Guillén Rodríguez: Environment, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Agricultural Market, Crafts, Cleaning, Parks and Gardens.
Raquel Cabrera Bermúdez: Festivities, Youth, Municipal Radio and Cultural Centers.
Nicolás Rodríguez: Economy and Finance, Cadastre, Collection and New Technologies.
