The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, received this Friday at the municipal offices the Minister of Territorial Policy, Ángel Víctor Torres, in an institutional visit that served to learn firsthand about the reality of the municipality and reinforce collaboration between administrations.
The City Council is attached to the program ‘The Administration Close to You’, organized by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, with the aim of facilitating citizens' access to the General State Administration (AGE) to carry out their procedures, wherever they live, by transferring civil servants to small towns.
During the day, the delegation toured different municipal facilities, where they had the opportunity to greet the City Council staff and learn about the work they do daily to bring the Administration closer to citizens and improve the provision of public services.
The meeting also included a visit to a local craft workshop and the Municipal Market, where they were able to talk with the professionals who carry out their activities and learn about their importance for the local economy, the preservation of traditions, and the social dynamism of the municipality.
