The Haría City Council says 'enough' to the water cuts in the municipality. The Corporation expresses the citizens' weariness with respect to this problem that they have been suffering for years and against which no measures are being taken.

The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, denounces that several payments in the municipality have remained without supply for more than four days. Likewise, the mayor added that, despite the importance of holding events that praise the primary sector such as Saborea Lanzarote, "the reality is that agricultural water still does not reach Haría and the countryside on the Island has no water."

In this sense, the mayor asserts that "Haría is not going to be an accomplice in sweetening the image of Canal Gestión, a company that systematically breaches its contract."

From the Government group, "we are not going to participate in the financing of a service that is mandatory by contract and that corresponds to this awarding company. The competent public administration must take urgent measures, since it is the residents who are suffering the consequences of the entity's inability and disinterest."
