The site, which is almost rectangular in shape, is located next to the promenade
marítimo located in Playa Bastián, a location that
"facilitates the optimization and organization of spaces", as highlighted by the City Council. The park will basically consist of five zones. The closest to the promenade will be the children's area; this draws a small bathing plot so that the little ones are
more controlled and another dotted with urban furniture for children's games. Very close to this area is the area for the elderly, with its own elements that allow rehabilitation exercises to be carried out if desired.
The future park also includes an outdoor auditorium,
taking advantage of a slope in the land itself. Higher up is the kiosk, taking advantage of the sea views; a discreet, small piece that houses a cafeteria and public toilets. Then, going up towards the interior is the mini-golf, accompanying the pedestrian path, and two landscaped lounges in a quieter and more secluded space.
Once the public exhibition file of the project is completed, this work, budgeted at 291,895 euros and with an execution period of 12 months, will be tendered. The initiative is included in the list of
actions of the Teguise Tourism Excellence Plan (PET), a planning that, according to the City Council, "is providing an important injection of improvements for the tourist town of Costa Teguise".
