The Department of Culture of the Arrecife City Council has installed a new outdoor mailbox in the facilities of the Civic Center, intended for the return of books from the Central and Children's Library of Arrecife.
This new service allows users to return their copies quickly and easily, without waiting, and will be available 24 hours a day.
“With this mailbox we want to further facilitate access to our library services. Now, returning a book is as easy as simply depositing it inside the mailbox. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, readers can return their books whenever it is most convenient for them,” says Abigail González.
The management of returns will be carried out later by the library staff, thus guaranteeing an efficient and uncomplicated process for users.
This initiative seeks to encourage the continuous use of library services, encouraging the residents of the capital to continue exploring everything that libraries have to offer in terms of readings and cultural resources.
“This new mailbox is another step in our mission to promote reading and access to culture in Arrecife,” adds the councilor.
