Ciudadanos has this Monday lashed out against the councilor of Somos Lanzarote and first deputy mayor of the Haría City Council, José Pérez Dorta, for having "allowed" the release of two more councilors from Coalición Canaria. In addition, he has questioned his "change of criteria" since he became part of the government group.
"Mr. Dorta has always been against politicians charging for their municipal functions", so "it is not understood that he is now an accomplice of CC and allows councilors to continue to be released in a municipality of less than 5,000 inhabitants", denounced the coordinator of the local group of Cs in Haría, Suso López.
In this sense, López has stated that "there are already a total of six released councilors", which represents "an excessive expense that only benefits CC and that harms all the residents of Haría, who, once again, are the ones who will pay for the cronyism and nepotism typical of a weakened party that only works for its interests, such as CC".
Finally, the Cs coordinator has also rejected "the terrible management capacity of the mayor, Marciano Acuña, who does not exercise in the Haría City Council and has made this decision only to benefit his party colleagues", all this "with the approval of Mr. Dorta", a fact that demonstrates "the hypocrisy in the change of criteria of the first deputy mayor".
