A 9-year-old girl has died after being run over this Thursday in Tías, as reported by CECOES.
The accident took place around 5:30 p.m. on La Luchada street in the town. Local Police officers, Civil Protection, two ambulances, one medicalized and another with basic life support, from the Canary Islands Emergency Service, and a doctor from the Tías Health Center have been dispatched to the scene.
A doctor who was in the area came to assist the minor who was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, later the medical staff continued without obtaining results, confirming her death.
For their part, the Local Police have been in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding accident report.
