Contigo Teguise + Unido has announced through a press release that it is determined to "improve the situation" of the companion animals of the inhabitants of Teguise and are committed after the elections to urge "higher authorities" for a subject that "we consider logical: the creation of a social security system for dogs, cats and other pets", they make clear.

Since, nowadays, "they are only private veterinarians for whom the State neither contributes nor subsidizes anything", he argues.

That is why, "we propose to create a public health system for pets that covers all those expenses", he argues.
