The Communication and Transport Federation of Comisiones Obreras Canarias (CC.OO.) requested this Tuesday the mediation of the Canarian Labor Court in the strike at the company Binter, "so that all avenues legally established in labor legislation are exhausted." The union took this initiative in response to the position of the company's management and other authorities who have asked the Ministry of Development to take action in the conflict.
According to CC.OO. in a statement, it is within the framework of the Labor Court "in which a conflict that is causing obvious damage to citizens must be resolved", for this it demands that this body convene the unions and the company to a meeting.
CC.OO. recalls that it is the majority union organization among passenger cabin crew, aircraft maintenance technicians and general service personnel
