The Secretary General of the Canarian Coalition (CC), Fernando Clavijo, said this Friday that there is no agreement to govern in Teguise, where the necessary majority depends on Vox, so the councilors of his party will vote for their own candidate Olivia Duque.

Vox announced that its only councilor Ginés González would support an alleged pact between CC (seven councilors) and PP (three) for the nationalist to be the mayor of the municipality, where the most voted party on May 28 was the PSOE (ten councilors), with Marcos Bergaz at the head.

Fernando Clavijo insisted this Friday that CC will vote "for itself" and added that the Mayor's Office will be for those who decide the councilors of Teguise.

He also reiterated that CC is consistent with its discourse that it has nothing to do with Vox and Podemos, since there is no agreement, and pointed out that the polls spoke last May 28 and the constituent plenary sessions to be held on Saturday will go without agreements in these municipalities.
