CC considers it "lamentable" that Corujo "continues without assuming her responsibility with Adislan"

The nationalists affirm that they left "the solution contracted" in 2019 and point out that "the contractual relationship of the Cabildo with Adislan dates back to the 90s, with the PSOE in the Presidency"

The Nationalist Group (CC-PNC) in the Cabildo of Lanzarote considers it "lamentable" that the government presided over by the socialist María Dolores Corujo "is incapable of assuming its responsibility and solving once and for all the situation that the workers of Adislan are experiencing at this time."

“It was us who left the solution contracted to a problem inherited from the PSOE in 2017, and in March 2019, still in the past term, the drafting of the specifications was already awarded to the company Eguesan Energy to tender this service”, affirm the nationalists.

CC points out that the contractual relationship of the Cabildo with Adislan "dates back to the 90s", that is, "some 15 years before the arrival of Coalición Canaria to the Presidency, after years in which the PSOE had the maximum institutional responsibility." Likewise, it recalls that, subsequently, and under the Presidency of CC between the years 2009 and 2019, "it was also the PSOE who, on two occasions, had direct responsibility in the Area of Social Welfare."

“It seems that the president has forgotten all those facts, just as she also seems not to remember that after decades, the first difficulties arose in 2017 (until December of that year the PSOE also had direct responsibilities in the Area) and it was in the last of the budgets approved under the Presidency of CC (in 2018), the first time in which the subsidy was no longer put before the objections of the Intervention and an audit was contracted to find the most appropriate solution to the inherited services provided by Adislan”, says the Nationalist Group.

Likewise, it affirms that after that audit in the past term, specifically in March 2019, the drafting of the specifications was awarded to tender the service of attention to disability, which Adislan manages, being then councilor Maite Corujo, "which shows that it has not been the government of María Dolores Corujo who started the regularization process, but rather who has not completed it."

"The works began that same March of 2019 the previous government, as accredited by their own reports, although two years after having left the work done, they insist that also in this the fault lies with Coalición Canaria. We are aware of the technical difficulties involved in a specification of these characteristics, but their obligation is to explain it and not blame the previous government, nor pass the buck”, the nationalists emphasize.
