Coalición Canaria will request next Monday, in the Plenary of Arrecife, explanations about a meal that was held on July 8 at the Castle of San José, with a reservation in the name of the capital's City Council, according to Luis Morales, in which they believe that "Ubaldo Becerra invited certain people with the City Council's money". According to CC, the socialist Jerónimo Saavedra, the president of the Cabildo, Manuela Armas, and some representatives of the media were invited to this meal, among others.
CC will ask about the reasons for this meal, the number of guests, the criteria for making the invitations, how "this investment favored the interests of the citizens", and of course, the cost of the banquet. The political formation also does not understand why the councilor of Parks, Gardens, Beaches and Health was the host of this celebration, and they warn that, if the meal is not justified, Ubaldo Becerra "will have to respond with his personal assets".
