Arrecife continues to support inclusive and egalitarian culture with the 'Cultura+B' project of the Creciendo Social Association. The Councilor for Culture of the Arrecife City Council, Abigail González, reaffirms her commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities through art and culture, by supporting the project.

This is an innovative initiative financed by the capital's Department of Culture, whose protagonist is Braulio Betancort, a young man with Down syndrome who has inspired many with his book Braulio. The story of overcoming Down Syndrome. Thanks to the 'Cultura+B' project, this publication has been digitized and thus promote its message of overcoming and diversity.

Last Friday, April 19, at the Maneje Sociocultural Center, the first presentation of the digitized book took place. Soon, on May 17, the presentation will take place at the Argana Sociocultural Center, on June 14 at the Tinasoria Sociocultural Center, and on June 28 at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture.

This first public presentation of the digitized edition was done in an original and innovative way, combining an inclusive dance workshop and the performance of Los Desiguales, with Braulio as the protagonist, thus highlighting the importance of "inclusion in all cultural areas".

Councilor Abigail González highlights the importance of "awareness and inclusion" as fundamental pillars of the collaborative work carried out with entities such as Creciendo Yaiza. 'The 'Cultura+B' project is a clear example of "how we can move towards a more just and equitable society. Only by walking alongside inequality will we all be equal", Abigail González has stated.

González also expressed her gratitude to the Creciendo association and Braulio Betancort for their contribution to culture and inclusion.
