Astrid Pérez has visited the Titerroy neighborhood to directly supervise the execution of the works that the Arrecife City Council is carrying out throughout the capital of Lanzarote with the Asphalt Plan.
The mayoress has been accompanied on this visit by the new Councilor for Public Works, also second deputy mayor Yonathan de León.
The Arrecife City Council has a powerful Asphalt Plan underway, the largest in terms of amount and number of streets, which will allow a good advance to the condition of many of the streets in all the neighborhoods of the island's capital.
These phases, which were launched last May, have continued this week at the beginning of the new term for the period 2023-2027. The new pavement improvement works have been carried out in the Titerroy neighborhood, in the streets adjacent to Plaza Pio XII.
Astrid Pérez has highlighted that Arrecife "is registering an important transformation in its urban sections, with several works financed and promoted directly by the Arrecife City Council, such as Manolo Millares, Canalejas and Portugal streets, in the center of Arrecife, and the Tenderete road, in the Argana neighborhood, which will enable a significant change in the accesses to this populous neighborhood."
For his part, Yonathan de León, has advanced that he "will continue to supervise in these coming weeks the new resurfacing phases in new streets of the city, which will focus on the neighborhoods."
