An excavator has caused a power outage in several areas of Teguise and Tinajo this Friday morning. The problem is that the Punta Grande-Norte de Famara power line has been disconnected, due to a damaged conductor in the section between the Tahíche I and Tahíche II transformation centers. This has caused a power outage, which has affected Teguise, Tahíche, Soo, Caleta de Caballo, Famara, Tinajo, La Santa and El Cuchillo.
In addition, according to Unelco-Endesa, some Arrecife customers have also noticed this "micro-cut" of just a few minutes as a result of the maneuvers on the network that have been necessary to carry out from the Control Center.
The electrical fault, caused by a company that has not yet been identified, occurred at 07.42 hours. "The rapid intervention of the Endesa teams allowed the supply to be normalized at 08.08 hours," the company reported.
Endesa has regretted "these unfortunate circumstances caused by third parties" and has thanked "the understanding of the clients affected by these circumstances beyond the company's control".
