The spokesperson for the Socialist Group and former mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, announces that “the worst omens for the municipality are confirmed, since Haría suffers a bicephaly with a mayor who does not speak and a de facto mayor who continually corrects her.”

Alfredo Villalba made these statements after the municipal government group agreed to “split the Mayor's Office” by delegating the “municipal representation”, which is one of the mayor's own attributions, according to the Regulatory Law of the Bases of the Local Regime, to the figure of the first deputy mayor, José Torre Stinga.

This agreement was adopted in the municipal plenary session held on the morning of this Saturday, November 28, which decided on the determination of positions with exclusive or partial dedication, appointment of representatives of the Corporation to public bodies, and taking note of the appointment of deputy mayors and the delegation of government areas.

“The Haría City Council makes history by having a mayoress and a mayor at the same time”, concludes Alfredo Villalba, “the nominal mayoress of Haría, Chaxiraxi Niz, of the Canarian Coalition, and the true mayor, José Torres Stinga, of the Haría Municipal Platform.”
