The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has extended the yellow warning for waves in Lanzarote until this Wednesday, November 8. An alert that began last Thursday, November 2 and extended until this Monday due to the presence of waves of up to four meters.
Between this Tuesday and until this Wednesday, the island will be on yellow alert due to the presence of swell from the northwest that could leave waves of up to four and five meters. The probability of this adverse atmospheric phenomenon occurring is between 40 and 70%.
In addition, on Tuesday and Wednesday, the northeast wind will be present on the island with gusts from 70 kilometers per hour on the north and southeast coast from noon. Aemet predicts that the wind will blow strongly, classified on a scale of force 7.
