Coque, the cat that was sprayed with a boiling liquid in an urbanization of Costa Teguise on June 25, has been discharged from the veterinarian after obtaining in its last analysis "all normal values."
The neighbor who initially took care of paying the animal's medical expenses, which amounted to 1,000 euros, has thanked the wave of solidarity that has made it possible to continue helping this cat. In addition, the animal has been taken to his house to continue performing wound care, although it is already out of danger.
In total, after a news item published in La Voz in which he asked for help for the medical expenses of this cat, which belongs to a feline colony in Costa Teguise, the neighbor received something more than 1,200 euros. In total, 42 people participated in the donations, which ranged from three to one hundred euros.
In addition, some people went directly to the veterinarian to make a contribution and six neighbors of the complex have collaborated with the feline's expenses by directly giving the money to the man who has taken responsibility for the animal.
With all this, it has been enough to cover the 15 days that he has been going to the vet: first cures, the operation, emergency assistance on Sunday and these last four days of hospitalization, as well as medications, ointments and gauze.
