The owner of Lanzarote a Caballo, Vicente Hidalgo, passed away in the early hours of this Friday, at the age of 73, after battling a long illness.

Hidalgo had been in the hospital for two days, as confirmed by his family. "He was always a very positive man, very loved, and many people knew him," recalls one of his sons, who emphasizes that his father was always "very hardworking." "He worked every day, even on Sundays," he points out.

Vicente Hidalgo combined his work at Lanzarote a Caballo with that of a surveyor throughout his life. Furthermore, he was a "very artistic" person. "He has always made drawings and sculptures," his son points out, adding that he had several exhibitions when he was young and that "in recent times he was recovering" this facet.
