Firefighters extinguished on Tuesday afternoon, October 13, a fire in a garage of a community in Playa Honda, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.
The fire occurred around 7:15 p.m. in a residential area on Calle Mayor in the coastal town and caused a large column of smoke.
After being alerted by the CEOES, Local Police officers, the Civil Guard, and firefighters were dispatched.
The fire affected a mattress and a large amount of accumulated clothing at the bottom of a staircase, which was out of service. The personnel proceeded to extinguish it with water and applied a layer of foam for its total extinction.
Finally, the firefighters ventilated all the accumulated smoke in the area.
