The Tinajo City Council already has a poster for its Carnival dedicated to the Far East. A jury formed by David Morales and Estefanía Camejo chose this Tuesday the work of Javier Pulpón Lozano to announce the carnivals of the municipality under the allegory "Aromas del lejano Oriente".
Javier Pulpón is a 25-year-old from Ciudad Real who lives and works in Madrid, in the creative department of an advertising agency. Declared a lover of illustration, the winner has explained that he learned about the Tinajo carnival poster contest through a friend he has in Lanzarote. "She told me and I said, well, I'll give it a try and see what happens, and in the end it happened," confirmed the author of the Tinajo geisha with a smile.
According to Pulpón, who has expressed his "gratitude" for the award, the poster dedicated to the "Aromas del lejano Oriente" was made by dedicating "a couple of hours in two or three weeks." "Have a good time with the Tinajo Carnival," he said to say goodbye.
The Tinajo Carnival 2020 will take place on the weekend of March 13 to 15 and the easternmost carnival parade on the island will take place on Saturday the 14th
