The Tías City Council campaign to celebrate Father's Day and encourage consumption in the municipality's establishments closed this morning with the presentation of the prize from the draw held on Monday. Javier Umpiérrez, who confessed that he will be a father for the first time in May, was the winner of the draw for a weekend with breakfast at the Isla y el Mar hotel.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the Councilor for Commerce, Kalinda Pérez, congratulated the winner and future father, and presented him with the gift voucher after he had consumed a minimum of 10 euros at the La Rotonda cafeteria, one of the 48 establishments in Tías that joined this campaign.
In total, 250 people participated in an initiative that not only promotes local commerce but also respect for the environment, with the telematic participation of consumers using the QR code of the campaign and avoiding printing on paper, and with the use of recycled elements in the preparation of the gift voucher.

Kalinda Pérez highlighted the slogan of the campaign, 'My father, my hero', "at a time when we must all help each other and cooperate in the reactivation of local commerce by consuming in our municipality and promoting our services".
