Arrecife has celebrated its traditional Three Kings Parade, which lasted for just over an hour and a half, from the Municipal Archive to the Fairgrounds, before the excited and attentive gaze of numerous citizens who have shown exemplary behavior.
The mayoress of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, on her behalf and on behalf of the entire Corporation, thanks the citizens "for the civic and responsible behavior maintained throughout the entire route of the Parade. I want to congratulate each and every one of the attendees because this traditional Parade, and without sweets, has been a success and has restored the illusion of young and old alike."
The mayoress, Astrid Pérez, and the councillor for Festivities, Encarna Páez, together with other members of the Corporation, accompanied the entourage of Their Majesties the Three Kings in their parade along the Avenida Marítima, illuminated by the color and lights of Christmas that crowned the passage of their majesties.
During a route that lasted approximately an hour and a half, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar, riding their decorated camels, the herald, the emissary and the pages paraded along the Avenida Marítima accompanied by five floats, the music of a parranda, as well as stilt walkers and puppets that delighted young and old alike.
The parade ended with the traditional fireworks that illuminated the sky of Arrecife even more. After the parade, the cleaning services have acted leaving the Avenida Marítima clean and shining for a day, tomorrow's Three Kings Day, in which the City Council has also arranged special shifts for the cleaning and waste collection service.
