A total of 101 people attended the vaccination day without prior appointment that the Health Department held on Saturday at the Deiland Shopping Center in Playa Honda.

The device, as La Voz already reported, was installed in the room of the Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy, a place to which four nurses, two assistants and a doctor from the Canarian Health Service moved, who were vaccinating between 09:00 and 19:00 hours.

According to what they have indicated from the Health area of Lanzarote, the majority of the people who took advantage of this day to get vaccinated were young people between 12 and 29 years of age, to whom the first dose was administered. However, they specify that "some" second doses were also given.

Since the vaccination against Covid began, 206,611 doses have already been administered in Lanzarote, with 101,268 people having received the full course, which represents 73.4% of the target population over 12 years of age. With at least one dose is already 80.5% of the target population, that is, 110,967 people.
