The Neighborhood Association of the Titerroy Neighborhood has sent a letter to the Arrecife City Council to urge the Council to carry out the corresponding cleaning work in the neighborhood's sewage system, which is covered in sand and cement.

"We request that the City Council order the workers to clean the drains and sewers in our neighborhood, as they require thorough cleaning in order to prevent autumn and winter rains from causing minor floods", point out from the neighborhood association, which also assures that many drains are difficult to locate due to the poor condition they are in.

"Given that the cleaning has not been carried out this year, the association has detected that the drains were in poor condition, full of sand and cement", comments Ismael Montero, president of the neighborhood association of the Arrecife neighborhood.

Another of the added problems of the Titerroy sewage system is the noise caused by its lids, since when vehicles or pedestrians pass over them, noises are produced that disturb the neighborhood, especially at night, so they also request its repair.
