The Three Wise Men from the East have walked the streets of Arrecife this Friday morning to flood all the neighborhoods of the capital of Lanzarote with hope. After that, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon, the Parade began its journey on Avenida de Naos (Agramar) and continued along Avenida Olaf Palma until reaching the Islas Canarias Park.
More than 30,000 people, according to the City Council, came to enjoy the Three Kings Parade in the capital of Lanzarote.
Along the way they handed out more than 4,000 kilos of sweets. Thus, the Parade featured seven floats, inspired by themes such as Barbie, the Animated Forest, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Frozen. All these floats brought a magical atmosphere to the little ones, from its beginning at the roundabout next to the Fishermen's Association.
In addition, within this festive atmosphere there was also a space for people with auditory hypersensitivity, who were able to enjoy the passage of Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar in the vicinity of the Monument to the victims of the fishing boat Cruz del Mar.
The floats were not the only elements that brought the celebration to the little ones, but there were also a hundred extras who accompanied the Three Wise Men and the camels.
Thus, the Batucada Villa Pipol, the children's murgas Los Noveleros and Intoxicaditos, and the elders of Play Back Simpatía, did not miss the show and added rhythm to the celebration.
Finally, it is worth highlighting the security deployment in which agents of the Local Police, the National Police, Civil Protection have participated and for the first time the Port Police has participated in the device when the Parade left from Puerto Naos and both Naos and La Marina had to be closed.
