This Thursday, the presentation of the new edition of student aid provided by the Mercedes Medina Díaz Association took place at the Casa de la Cultura de Arrecife "Agustín de la Hoz". These scholarships are intended for the 2024-25 academic year.
The students who will be able to benefit from these grants are those who have a good academic record and who have limited economic resources and family difficulties. In total, 12 scholarships will be awarded for the next academic year with an economic endowment amounting to 3,600 euros, which will be paid to the student in nine monthly installments of 400 euros.
The scholarships are financed by the Association itself and also by collaborating companies such as Cabrera Medina, Taba Control, Vega de Yuco, Spar Lanzarote, Fundación Líneas Romero, Comunigestión and Graciplus.
The deadline for submitting applications begins on July 15 and ends on August 15. The documentation will be submitted in an attached file sent to the Association's email: [email protected].
