The Regulatory Council of Lanzarote Wines will hold from November 3 to 8 the twelfth edition of the Malvasía Week, an invitation to discover the island's wine culture through experiences that connect wine with music, art, gastronomy, and landscape.

The annual event proposes to approach Lanzarote wines from different perspectives, share experiences, and learn about the territory and the work behind each glass. Wineries, artistic spaces, and restaurants will become meeting places during these days to enjoy the Lanzarote wine identity.

The program will begin on Tuesday, November 3, at Bodegas El Grifo, with Wines & Vinyls. In this guided tasting, each glass will find its soundtrack in a sensory journey where vinyl music and Lanzarote wines dialogue. The experience invites you to discover new nuances, share conversations, and enjoy wine from a different perspective.

On Wednesday the 4th, the Lanzarote Art Center, in San Bartolomé, will host the already classic eno-artistic workshop with Rufina Santana. Guided by the artist, participants will use wine as a painting material to create a work, exploring its expressive possibilities in an experience that unites wine culture with artistic practice.

Gastronomy will take center stage on Thursday the 5th at the El Baifo restaurant, with WINEomios (Im)perfects. This proposal turns pairing into a participatory game: each dish will be accompanied by two wines whose identity will remain hidden, and diners will choose which one best harmonizes with the preparation. An opportunity to test your palate and discover how the perception of a wine changes when combined with different flavors.

On Friday, November 6, Malvasía Week will premiere Origin, Territory, and Wine, a meeting space between Lanzarote and La Palma, with a conference and tasting that will bring together wines and products from both islands. The activity will allow attendees to approach their wine and gastronomic singularities and enjoy the flavors that express the identity of each territory.

The closing will arrive on Sunday, November 8, with the traditional route through the wine landscape, a proposal to tour the wine-growing area of La Geria and visit the La Geria, Stratvs, and Rubicón wineries. The day will combine the discovery of the island's landscape and wines, toasting to International Wine Tourism Day.

The program will be completed with ConVinados, a gastronomic experience that invites to continue exploring the relationship between the cuisine and wines of Lanzarote through a paired menu and that will be available all week at the Nakai Restaurant, in Playa Honda, by reservation.

The Regulatory Council encourages the public to join the activities and discover new ways to enjoy and learn about the island's wine heritage. Information is available at www.semanamalvasia.com and registrations will be enabled on October 26 at 10:00 AM.

The Malvasia Week has the support of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Cajamar Caja Rural, the Government of the Canary Islands, to whom the Regulatory Council thanks for their collaboration, as well as the involvement of the wineries, professionals, and establishments that make this annual event possible. Action financed within the framework of the PEPAC.
