The Lanzarote Presa Canario Club has issued a statement congratulating Laureano Álvarez for his numerous victories in 2022 with Fanega, an example of a presa canario. "Their success pleases us, not only the club, but all breeders and fans of this spectacular breed, our presa canario," they say from the entity.
This year the club is celebrating because it is celebrating its 25th anniversary and they point out that they wanted to start 2023 "with very special and affectionate congratulations for Laureano Álvarez".
"We want to value, not only the personal effort that this implies, in the sense of the great dedication that breeding entails both temporally and economically, but also, and most importantly, the perseverance that we must have if we want to see the result of our work as breeders," they explain from the club. "For all of the above, congratulations Laureano and therefore to our great heroine Fanega," they add.
