The Lanzarote Classical Orchestra closed the "IV Arrecife Classical Concerts Cycle" last Saturday at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture. The trio composed of the Lanzarote baritone, Borja Molina, the Venezuelan soprano Tairuma Méndez and the Tenerife pianist Conchi Reyes, put the finishing touch to it. On this occasion they chose an exquisite program called "Something more than Opera", which captivated the numerous public that filled the venue. The complicity was present at all times between the participants who gave everything with voice timbres that impressed in each of their solo and duet performances.
The first song, a composition by Mozart, was preceded by the words of Borja Molina who defended those who, like him, decide to dedicate themselves to singing as a profession. The soprano, Tairuma Méndez was in charge of closing the first block dedicated to opera with one of the best known works by Puccini, in a somewhat lighter version than usual and with a very careful staging that was highly applauded.

The concert reached its final point dedicated to the genre of La Zarzuela where the singers in a relaxed moment explained to the public in great detail the compositions they were going to perform such as La del Manojo de Rosas or Canción Andaluza from the Africana duo.
Before finishing, the direction of the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote thanked the public for the support shown in each of the concerts held in the IV Cycle of Classical Concerts Arrecife and ended by toasting with all those present with a wine of honor.
