The journalist Jesús Cintora will present his work "They don't want you to know" at the Lanzarote Book Fair and, previously, will also give a talk at the Tahíche prison. The appointment with Cintora at the Fair will be in Yaiza, in the Arozarena room of the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas, next Friday, April 28, at 7:00 p.m. Previously, at 4:30 p.m., the communicator will visit the penitentiary center, where he will also hold a colloquium with inmates about his book and Journalism, the writer announces.

Jesús Cintora, who always declares himself "a great lover of the Canary Islands", is doing a tour of Spain with events that give rise to debate with citizens. "Attendees show curiosity, above all, about what happens behind the scenes in the world of television, journalism in general, politics or economics," he acknowledges. The book reaches its sixth edition and is among the best sellers in the non-fiction category since it went on sale.

The journalist has more than 25 years of experience presenting programs in the guild, both on television and on the radio. He is one of the leading figures in political and social journalism in Spain. He has presented spaces such as "Las cosas claras", on TVE; "Las mañanas de Cuatro", on Mediaset; "Carretera y manta", on La Sexta; various programs on Cadena SER, where he worked with Iñaki Gabilondo, among others.

In "They don't want you to know", Cintora investigates, opines and shows a map "of the true distribution of power in Spain, of the plugs that stop progress and makes a commitment to regeneration." The author starts from a beautiful narration of his childhood in the late 70s and early 80s. Son of a housewife and a village farmer, Jesús Cintora thus delves into his beginnings in journalism and the obstacles he has encountered in order to carry out the profession with no few sticks in the wheels.
