The Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real in Fuerteventura has received the award that positions it as the Best Hotel in Europe. The jury of Recommended Hotels & Spas Europe & The Mediterranean of Condé Nast Johansens, the British guide that collects the most select hotels of the old continent, has decided to award the facilities of this hotel located next to the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo, for the "exclusivity of the facilities, the exquisite treatment offered to the client and the quality in its restoration". All this has been valued through the quality questionnaires, the guest and through the periodic inspections carried out by the staff of the British publishing house.
Faced with this recognition, the hotel director, Gian Carlo Porcu has declared that he feels "proud, happy and happy". He also recognizes that this merit is "of all the hotel staff", since they make this establishment a "Great Hotel".
Facilities
For Gian Carlo Porcu the strengths of this establishment, which during the summer season (from May to the end of October) has had an occupancy of 70%, are the "exclusive and
luxury facilities, personalized service, high-level gastronomy and state-of-the-art Spa".
Thus, the Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real, in which the Neo-Mudéjar style and colonial influences have inspired its architecture, has the Bahía Vital Spa, of 3,000 square meters that has panoramic views of the Atlantic. This place for relaxation was already awarded for two consecutive years as the second best Spa in Europe in this same international awards gala.
Finally, among its facilities, it also has five restaurants, including La Cúpula of the Catalan chef Carles Caig.
