The Arrecife Polyphonic Choir presented this Tuesday the VIII Christmas Concert, which will be held next Friday, December 15, in the Atlántida theater hall. The event took place in the plenary hall of the Arrecife City Council and was presented by Tere León, a member of the Arrecife Choir, and presided over by the mayor, Eva de Anta, who was accompanied by councilors from the government group and the opposition and the Cabildo councilor Juan Manuel Sosa.
Balbino Pérez, a member of the choir, was in charge of announcing the artists who will selflessly collaborate in this edition, such as the musical group Quinta Generación, Dúo Violette, Ait Nahaya with Fabiola Socas and the Arrecife Polyphonic Choir.
Tickets to attend the concert cost 10 euros, and there is also the possibility of collaborating with this charity event by purchasing zero row tickets for 5 euros. The points of sale are located in the Catholic bookstore located in the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Ginés, at the theater box office itself and this year also at ecoentradas.com.
The parish priest of the church of San Ginés, Miguel Hernández, also spoke at the presentation, making a call for solidarity in order to eradicate the inequalities that exist in the world, especially in underdeveloped or so-called third world countries. He also thanked the members of the Arrecife Polyphonic Choir for their commitment year after year, with the collaboration of the Arrecife City Council, the Lanzarote Cabildo, the Canary Islands Government and the Spínola chain.
The concert will be held on Friday, December 15 at 9 p.m. in the Atlántida theater hall and all proceeds will go to benefit Cáritas Parroquiales Arrecife.
