The agents of the Lanzarote fire department have chosen two of the busiest spaces on the Island to begin selling the 2007 solidarity calendar, presented on December 28, 2006 and financed by the Security Plan Department of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
Specifically, a team of firefighters will sell the calendars on Calle Real, in front of the old Cabildo, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while a second group will do so at the Deiland Shopping Center, in Playa Honda, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. It should be remembered that 1000 copies were initially printed, however, due to strong demand, a new print run of the same number has been ordered.
The price of each calendar is 10 euros and the proceeds from this initiative will go, in full, to the Association of Oncohematological Families of Lanzarote (AFOL).
