IES Playa Honda celebrated the Day of Peace this Wednesday, which also took place in other schools in the Canary Islands, which carried out activities to commemorate this day. Students and teachers participated in different initiatives, included in "the promotion of good practices" promoted by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands.
In Playa Honda, the activities began around 12:00 noon, with the elaboration of posters, poems and the reading of a manifesto. The act took place in the institute's courtyard, where the students grouped together to form the word Peace.
The activity ended with a work that was carried out on a giant sheet on which motifs related to the Day of Peace were painted and written.
