A small boat has reached the north coast of the island on its own, specifically Punta del Burro in Punta Mujeres, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
After CECOES was alerted, agents from the Civil Guard, Local Police, and the Red Cross were dispatched to the scene.
For now, they have attended to 13 males who are in good health, and the search continues for more people who are believed to have fled.
