Several residents have complained that the placement of curbs that literally close off access to the new Local Police building and municipal offices have become real obstacles that greatly hinder citizens' access to these facilities.
According to a complaint sent to lavozdelanzarote.com, mainly elderly citizens "are having a hard time jumping the 60 centimeters high" curbs.
The curbs were placed as a result of the flooding that the lower part of the building suffered as a result of the recent rains.
Since no type of drainage was left during the construction of the new Tías Town Hall building, water accumulates on the facade of the headquarters, with the corresponding risk of flooding.
