The City Council of San Bartolomé has reopened the children's park in Santa Elena Square in Playa Honda. This Wednesday, the little ones will be able to enjoy numerous activities between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

This work is part of the modernization and adaptation of all the children's parks in the municipality, for which the council has invested a total of 2,245,000 euros.

The City Council has prepared a series of actions that will include the presence of a children's clown, giant dolls and occupational therapists who will adapt the space and activities so that everyone can enjoy this day.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlights that this improvement of public spaces for the little ones in the municipality provides them with new play areas, shaded areas and rest and vegetation areas.

"The children's park in Plaza de Santa Elena will have adapted games such as a set of secret passageways for users with reduced mobility and all types of functional diversity, thus making it an inclusive park. This adaptation is part of the important effort being made by the corporation to improve infrastructure and especially the leisure places for the little ones in the municipality," says the mayor.

This reopening is the first to be carried out within the modernization works of the children's parks in the municipality and the completion of the rest of the action points will be carried out shortly.

The park in Plaza de Santa Elena will maintain one of its iconic games, in which the inhabitants of the municipality have played since the 90s and which has passed from generation to generation. "We have responded to the requests of the residents and the little ones will be able to continue using the famous park train," says Pérez.
