The Yaiza City Council has lifted this Friday the bathing prohibition order in Playa Dorada (Playa Blanca), ordered last Wednesday due to bacterial contamination, upon receiving this same Friday morning the latest Public Health report indicating that the water is suitable for bathing.
Public Health in any case maintains the monitoring of water sample analyses and the City Council continues the investigation into the causes of the incident and detection of the spill that caused the closure of the beach informing and requesting collaboration from the Consorcio del Agua de Lanzarote.
The Administration thanks the collaboration of the bathers and the respect for the signage while the red flag waved.
