The UTE in charge of road maintenance in Lanzarote has announced the closure of the LZ-202 road, between Hoya de la Pila and Mirador del Río, to carry out cleaning work on the road with machinery after the rains on the island.
This has been reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, which points out that the duration of the closure will be approximately two hours and that it will be notified again after its opening.
According to data from the State Meteorological Agency, Haría was the municipality where it rained the most from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. . Specifically, until 08:00 hours, the rains had reached 16.6 liters per square meter in the municipality, with most of the rainfall concentrated between midnight and three in the morning, when 15.2 liters per square meter fell.
