Proyecto Hubara organizes a conference to learn about this endemic species

They will be developed in Lanzarote, La Graciosa and Fuerteventura

Proyecto Hubara organizes a conference so that anyone residing in Fuerteventura, Lanzarote or La Graciosa can participate, learning endless characteristics of the houbara bustard, an endemic species classified as in danger of extinction.

The conferences begin this Monday, June 7 in Lanzarote until June 16, then continue in Fuerteventura from June 21 to 25. Finally, the activity will take place in La Graciosa from June 28 onwards. In order to have access to the calendar, you must send a private message via Facebook or Instagram to "Proyecto Hubara" or to the email proyectohubara@gmail.com.

These conferences will be held in the morning and in the afternoon, "having designed a calendar where the interested party can sign up for the day and time that best suits them, as long as there is space, being more operative to sign up for a full day, morning and afternoon", say from the organization. 

This activity is totally free and will be developed under the supervision of a member of the Research Group on Ecology and Conservation of Birds of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). In addition, each person who participates will obtain their corresponding training and participation certificate issued by the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC).
