Throughout Saturday, Playa Honda Avenue became a hive of neighbors of all ages who danced to the rhythm of the music of Nolita James, Grupo Radio, Tío Matt and Los Salvapantallas. They could also enjoy sports and leisure activities and workshops for the little ones in the house.
All the events had great neighborhood participation of children, young people and adults enjoying an extensive offer of games, sports, music and leisure. The activities began at 10.30 am, with a solidarity reunion by the Sara Lanzarote Animal Shelter, in which information and activities with pets were offered, as well as a meeting point for those dogs adopted in the town of Playa Honda, in order to raise funds for the protector. For the occasion, Sara had a solidarity market and an information stand where a veterinarian and a dog groomer gave advice and guidance. During the event there was a brunch and a raffle, which then gave way to the election of Miss and Mister Guau and the musical performance of Nolita James.
Distributed along the Avenue at the height of Princesa Ico, Guanarame, Cruceta, Mesana and Carretera de las Playas streets, the activities continued throughout the day with spaces for toy libraries, magic and clown workshops, aquatic inflatables, climbing walls, a 60-meter zip line, paddle-surfing, beach soccer and musical performances by Grupo Radio, Tío Matt and Los Salvapantallas, who were in charge of putting an end to the day.
From the City Council of San Bartolomé they have highlighted that "this day, revitalizing a privileged space such as the avenue and beaches of Playa Honda, through daytime leisure, workshops and outdoor sports also contributes to publicize the hotel and gastronomic offer of the area".
