The small Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA) that will arrive in the Canary Islands this week will bring cloudiness of evolution with some moderate showers to Lanzarote, which could be accompanied by some storm and hail, according to the State Meteorological Agency.
For Thursday, there will be cloudy intervals with a probability of occasional rains in the morning, being unlikely in the afternoon and of an isolated nature. Temperatures will suffer few changes, with maximums of 23 degrees and minimums of 16 in Arrecife. In addition, the wind will blow moderately from the northeast with intervals of greater intensity, without ruling out some locally strong gusts in inland areas, such as the maximum wind gusts of 50 kilometers per hour that will reach in Tías, the Aemet has predicted.
Regarding the weather on Friday, there will be cloudy intervals tending to partly cloudy in the last hours of the day. Occasional showers will be likely with a low probability of storms that may be accompanied by hail, the Agency has collected. The maximum temperatures will be in slight decline and minimums without major changes, with 23 degrees and minimums of 16 in Arrecife, a temperature similar to that of Thursday.
Also the wind will blow moderately from the northeast turning to the east during the second half of the day, with maximum wind gusts of 45 kilometers per hour in Tías.
