Café del Mar, in Playa Blanca, celebrated a party last September 13 to publicly announce the new management team of the place. There, the Cuban trio that performs classics of their land transformed into chill out-lounge, Havana Chill, and the group Tiriti-Tango, with their fire dances, enlivened the evening. Similarly, the international artist Cathy Battistessa sang and improvised along with the accompaniments of Dj's Koustic and Skynet.
Three months ago Jesús Martínez, owner of the El Maño Restaurant in Puerto Marina Rubicón, bought Café del Mar and made several reforms, such as opening the kitchen from 11:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon and expanding bathrooms, among other things. Likewise, according to Anna Bukovska, public relations of the place, from next week there will be varied performances on Fridays and Saturdays, and the first weekend of every month there will be a comedy show, such as the one that took place last Saturday, September 15, in which the monologist Ángel Rielo, a comedian starring in the mornings of Ana Rosa and Paramount Comedy, "packed the entire room of the Café".
