Lanzarote breaks a new record of infections in a single day, with 509 positives registered this last day, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Active cases amount to 4,817 after 231 medical discharges were registered in the last day.
The accumulated incidence has risen again to 7 days and stands this Tuesday at 1,528.12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 2,865.63.
This Monday, 1,371 diagnostic tests were carried out on the island, a figure much higher than the previous day when 555 were carried out.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 13,886 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 8,992 have already overcome the disease and 58 have died, the last one this Monday.
