The minor crew member who arrived with 13 other people this Tuesday in Lanzarote aboard a boat from Africa has been transferred to a juvenile center, according to the Emergency Consortium.

Apparently, these people, of Moroccan origin, allegedly "stole" the boat from the shipowner in African waters to reach the islands.

Police sources revealed to La Voz that these people are awaiting immigration procedures to find out if they are granted asylum or not. Thus, they are in the inadmissibility zone as it is a border port awaiting this resolution.

This type of resolution usually takes approximately one week, although most of them are usually negative and people are returned to their country of origin.

The National Police will soon report everything that happened through a press release.
