Little Mateo, 21 months old, who was hospitalized in a hospital in Bali (Indonesia), is traveling to Spain, the president of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported.
The child, who suffers from severe autoimmune hemolytic anemia due to cold antibodies, is flying to Barcelona this Saturday via Qatar. According to Mateo's aunt, "the child will be admitted to the San Juan de Dios hospital".
In addition, the child's aunt wanted to thank the people of the Canary Islands, the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, "she has never left us alone", to Conrado Domínguez, director of the Canarian Health Service, to Claudia from the Presidency of the Government, among others.
The Government of the Canary Islands, in coordination with several ministries, has made the necessary arrangements for the health transfer of the Canarian child.
